Libby Hague will be coming in on the 10th at 12:30 for a talk before our Mid-Term crits.
There were some announcements from the grant writing team:
We got 1000$ from FASA and 700$ from the CCSL (yay!!)
It was brought up that there will be an option for the Val-David exhibit to be featured at the VAV in the fall as a way to involved the concordia community more closely.
There will be a print sale coming up sometime around the 26th (date to be confirmed)
If you would like to participate put your prints in the Val-David drawer.
Promoting the show and work featured in the Val-David exhibit in the local news paper Ski-se-Dit is an option. Click here to visit their site.
First draft of your artist statement is due on March 17th.
The maquette dimensions will be 1 inch to 1 foot ratio. This means that the maquette itself will be 32x42 inches and 9.5 inches tall (in other words, the walls are 9.5 inches high). Please take this into consideration when building your individual maquettes.
Minutes
1:30 - 3:30 Class discussion on how to write artist statements, building maquettes, receiving grants (we have received the FASA and Student Life grants!)
3:45-5:30 Individual meetings with Bonnie
4:30-5:30 Maquette team worked on building maquette
